Move from a SB Audigy is a move from the dedeuch Mercdes.
Features and Trs good exclents converters. The true 24bit/96kHz for around 160.
Use homestudio base.
Breath zero (I really made an effort but I mean really nothing like the sound of money !!!). Trs and satisfactory dynamic connectivity but low enough to use alone.
Possibility to combine Phase 22 + ieurs cascade.
And finally, a latency close to Nantes (2 ms no problem with Athlon XP 2000 + and 512MB of DDR.
Some small problem in Win98SE or millennium (small bugs if we a reboot of the machine, a plant a little ...) but otherwise very easy configuration.
Ic only for the moment: the drivers provided are poor and do not direct monitoring priori
See above for the drivers. No set day for now. The product is not out there long time trs. Wait and see.
Latency obtained with the config pr-cit: 2 ms!
In the number of tracks simultaneously: I record most of the time only my guitar and my voice + some piano sounds, it's not I who will push the bte far ...
A aprt has satisfied rsultat trs in 96 khz!
In conclusion, I do not know much but for me 160 a spo really be a good product. I use it for three weeks and it's not bad at all. Report quality price: silence.
Equipped motherboard chipset VIA / AMD, Windows XP.
I was looking for a card to make me forget the creaking of my Sound Blaster.
Control panel good enough with the setting of buffer size and output levels and input.
The big problem of this card is that the direct monitoring, ie the routing of the input signal directly to the output (zero latency) is not present. On the forum, apparently, some have managed to activate it. I do not know the extent or even technical support says that the card does not (??).
Otherwise, the connection is good in TRS.
I feared the cracks seem to have almost disappeared.
If you are not riding on the direct monitiring is a good map.
Personally, I have taken home the seller.
I was looking for a card invoice pro or semi pro at an affordable price. QLQ after hesitation (notably the audiophile 24/96) I fell for the phase22 I could touch at factory prices (96 €!: o)
installed on a xp3200 + on ABIT NF7, 512.
I return my instrument in a console UB1002, wired hand out the card (jack).
No problem to install, very simple.
one branch, we put the drivers, and presto.
not need the manual for me.
It seems stable.
Cubase SX meets with impeccable about 4ms latency input.
I used to work 48Khz, I have not tried the 96.
funny thing, all my old mix sound horribly wrong, will have to redo everything. : D
Just being tested, I have the card from yesterday, but frankly it has nothing to do with my old SB Live 5.1 that I used with the KX drivers.
I like the dynamics of the map, fishing sound. short, I am very happy, especially for the price!
I redeemed without the prob ^ m. if only to test the cards cascade.
Purchased for home studio recording bass, vocals, guitar (via preamp)
On AMD 2500 + 512 Ram Cubase sx2.0
Semi pro card: 32bit 96kHz, midi, digital I / O .....
Ya just put in the cacarte boiboite and intall the drivers! In two seconds and a nickel operation, the manual y'en not need!
Ok to use, I am not used as analog inputs, TRS and it sounds good! You will never find a price for its quality as good. Terratec thank you!
1-2 Problems arise when trying to run multiple application using the Phase 22 but everything is a click RULES by blocking frquence Sample Rate. Apparently some problem to get a run numriques the entries but I have not tried! If not for MIDI .... no pb Furthermore: trs low latency! All Happiness
I have a few months, and I do not change your mind for a long while, the phase 22 is a good map trs beginners class ... Impossible to beat for this price! Crystal clear sound, easy to use, no annoying lag ... I put 9
