Martin & Co 000-15

The Martin & Co 000-15 is a beautiful jumbo style acoustic guitar. The guitar is made out of mostly solid genuine mahogany wood, which gives it an incredible look and sound. Like all Martin guitars, it was made in the USA - in Nazareth, PA to be exact. It's not an acoustic/electric, so there aren't any pick ups or electronics inside this guitar...

UTILIZATION

The overall feel of the Martin & Co 000-15 is nothing short of impeccable. It plays just as good as any guitar I've used before, as the real wood really seems to make a difference. It's an absolute pleasure to pick up the guitar and play it as it seems incredibly easy to play on this when compared to other guitars. It's easy to play up and down the fretboard and it couldn't be easier to get a nice sound from it.

SOUNDS

The tone of the Martin & Co 000-15 is as rich as the look of the guitar. It's the perfect guitar for recording as it has a natural sound that makes recording acoustic guitar easy and an absolute pleasure. It's only acoustic so you don't have much wiggle room here to change your tone, but trust me when I say that you aren't going to need it. It's a got a jumbo style body which accounts for it's more biting sound rather than the more lush sound you'd get with a dreadnought, but all of this just adds to it's great sound. I've only played a few guitars out there that I'd put on the same level as this one.

OVERALL OPINION

The Martin & Co 000-15 is one of the cheapest ways you can get an incredible all wood acoustic guitar. It's as nice as some guitars double and triple it's price that I've played as I really think it's up there with some of the best being made today. I don't need to try to sell you a Martin, there's good reason why they're the best in the game when it comes to acoustics guitars and the 000-15 is proof!

UTILIZATION

guitar comes with a fairly high action. You, if you are careful, or failing that, a good luthier will ground.
What I did after six months of use has both the truss rod and the bridge of bone.
Light guitar, very resonant with said open pore varnish mat that is very wise on this type of guitar

SOUNDS

very versatile, it excels in blues, finger picking.
Superb midrange and treble felt .She well put 1-year open, mahogany forces. She glosses over time, this is the most beautiful effect.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had 6 years and this is one of my guitars that I take the most pleasure. The more you play, the more it becomes essential.
This is the kind of guitar 0 defects, we never resell.
Council put light strings if you play with your fingers, action will be lower sana power loss, and facilitates appreciable game.

UTILIZATION

- What struck me trying this guitar before buying it, is its ease of handling and comfort (I play a lot with the growing above the handle). I felt good, thick enough to handle as well have it in hand.
- The guitar is trslgre, and rsonnance of the box just by tapping with the fingertips impressed me.

SOUNDS

It is suitable both in play and note note Ragit well with some strong attacks. The grain is l.
Trs in nice rhythm, with or without mdiator.
Picking out the trs blues too.
For cons, I find it less suitable for the game and picking arpges "pop" (I work from Leforestier right now). I think it should be a high-mdium more honest to gain precision. CHARACTERISTICS This is a not a default of the guitar. You can not have everything!

OVERALL OPINION

In résumé I'd say it's the blues guitar of choice: sound, brand legends, an instrument that will bonnifier over time, from a look and still accessible prices.
I put a score of 10 for this point: there is no better in this price This category l.

Guitar size of 000 in Martin, budget economic (for Martin). It is a small format, for those who do not know.

The guitar is solid mahogany for the table and the neck, and mahogany veneer and wicker covers for the bottom.

Button and the bridge are rosewood.
The construction is simple trs, no dcoration (not even a binding) from the rosette, trs itself simple, in fact a collage. Obviously, the cost is not passed in the visual arts.
The guitar is very well built, to show the junction perfect table-Sides, visible as there is no binding at all.

The Martin mcaniques are obviously oil bath was then expected to take the hard way.

UTILIZATION

Channel trs enjoyable, like all the satin finish of the guitar elsewhere; Access in acute normal. The guitar is well lgre balance.

That said, it is clear what can cost suprieur usual in this price range, and the power of the guitar is thunder, A model for this format. The bass sound like an organ pipe. Awesome I tell you.

All sounds, chords, arpges, picking the blues.
In blues, it's even pretty good, mahogany being responsible for "dirty" sound that ds just frankly attack the strings.
This is a guitar that has the personality, we can not say. So a can not appeal.

OVERALL OPINION

I tried this guitar last Saturday for about three quarters of an hour in a store in Paris, quiet (if has any). The test is forcment incomplete.

However, the charm has acted, and I think that one day I let myself be tempted by the beautiful.
A Martin, with a personality certainly diffrent standards of the brand, but it did not lose by the change. It's just DIFFERENT.

Between 1000 and € 1300 now on Paris, sold his tui Martin, aa all the air a good opportunity. At least for anyone who wants a guitar out of the ordinary, which does not pay mine dcoration and not sound "too" bright.
