Best value: Excellent
This is the succeseur PSR S550 is a good arranger keyboard when you are a beginner or amateur, it is not appropriate for a pro.

This is a standard 5-octave keyboard, organ type, he can touch dynamics very well be removed by pressing the'' touch'' there is a pitch bend wheel, it is regrettable that there is no modulation function.

The keyboard has an effects section, only one can be used, there is a DSP channel and no variation, there are 237 presets and each edition possibility of effects or creating other.

The connection is simple (USB. To host, USB to device, OUTPUT / headphones and expression pedal or sustain)
We regrettra the headphones jack and output is shared, then there is no MIDI connections, but it is easily bypassed by plugging a USB / MIDI interface that permeterai connect multiple devices on the keyboard.

There are 864 sounds including 480 xg and featured voices, 9 Mega Voices, 18 live, 22 cool, sweet 12, the piano sounds are compressed, it does not give a very good result, the strings sound a little fake'' '' or too'''' synthetic pad is good for electro and pop, but it is not suitable for film music, choirs leave a bit to be desired
Otherwise sax are very successful, organs are not bad at all, and the drums are
Note that the edition of sounds is not possible.
The 181 styles are sampled, there is not much to say.
The voice and style expansion is available, we had never seen before in this price range, the voices and styles are available in packs priced at 70 euro each, but some of them are free.

The 16 track sequencer is present

UTILIZATION

OVERALL OPINION

I just try the keyboard for a few hours, but it is, I even think I get it, if I try other Yamahas

What I like the most is the ability to download packages extansions
What I liked the least, is the lack of MIDI and multi pads

This is a good quality / price ratio, but if you are committed to spend your afternoons path taken
