Korg releases new tuner models

Korg has announced new releases in its reputed line of tuners with two new models dedicated to bluegrass and hawaiian instruments.

The BA-40 is a dedicated tuner for bluegrass instruments featuring easy-to-use functionality in a compact size that easily fits in a gig bag or instrument case.

The HA-40 tuner was designed specifically for instruments used in Hawaiian music. It features a compact size, full functionality and large easy to read LED display. Each tuner offers a sleek design and Korg’s renowned accuracy.

The BA-40 Bluegrass Tuner Features:
  • Six tuning modes for Banjo, Fiddle, Mandolin, Guitar, Resophonic guitar, Bass
  • Detection accuracy of better than +/-1 cent
  • Tuning capability with either 1/4" input or built-in microphone
  • Built-in speaker, for playing reference tones
  • Built-in folding stand
  • Wide range of pitch detection: E0-C8
  • Sharp/flat tuning, allowing users to tune with a capo attached
  • LED meter indicator on a highly visible display
  • Output jack, which allows the BA-40 to be connected directly to an amp
  • Auto Power Off function, preserving battery life

The HA-40 Hawaiian Tuner Features:
  • Six tuning modes for Ukulele and Steel Guitar
  • Detection accuracy of better than +/-1 cent
  • Tuning capability with either 1/4" input or built-in microphone
  • Built-in speaker, for playing reference tones
  • Built-in folding stand
  • Wide range of pitch detection: E0-C8
  • LED meter indicator on a highly visible display
  • Output jack, which allows the BA-40 to be connected directly to an amp
  • Auto Power Off function, preserving battery life

Both models should be available next Fall at a price still to be announced.
