MXL will come to NAMM 2013 with no less than 6 new microphones, and specially the CR89 large diaphragm condenser microphone.
As part as the new CR Series, the MXL CR89 is a cardioid mic designed for studio use and includes a 6 micron gold-sputtered diaphragm and low noise circuitry. The large body reduces body resonance and its tuned grill cavity minimizes standing waves and harmonic distortion.
The microphone can be used with guitars, strings, pianos or room sound.
The CR89 comes complete with a durable aluminum flight case, shockmount, and microfiber cleaning cloth.
Technical details are expected soon on www.mxlmics.com.
