OVERALL OPINION

2 weeks that I
I don't have a lot of experience with condenser microphone, but I already had the opportunity to use a tbone SC400 (which I own), an audiotechnica 2020, an SE Electronics Gemini II (of his friends Eng)

I bought it mainly for home studio use, mostly rock and folk, for vocals, acoustic guitar, amps ...

What I like about this microphone is first its multi-use mode, in cardio mode it sounds a little less natural, but perfect in a rock band, voice gets very well in the mix, with fine treble, 8 mode is immediately much softer, lighter, perfect for vocals or guitars in a more calm, omni is much round, for instruments and voice I like it less, for ambiance sound takes it is not bad.

The pad allows to use the microphone for sound sources very powerful, and I even put it touching the guitar amp playing at max volume and the microphone held up very well, missing some precision toe be used as is but as an add-on to a SM57 it is very nice: D

I have not noticed any lack of treble as in many other micro Tbone, I think this one has nice, natural enough and sounds a lot less closed as my SC400, compared to the SC400 the sound much compressed more natural, so for the moment I do not regret my purchase one second:)
