Joemeek TB47

The TB 47 is a condenser microphone for taking voice. But it is also dangerous for the taking of instruments (guitar, percussion ...)
It is equipped with a double mylar capsule gold-plated end of a 'one-story tube "Class A", an external power supply that can manage the way of multipattern omni to figure 8, passing by cardioid (9 positions).
All this comes in a robust aluminum carrying case with a cable for power supply (about 10 m), an audio cable (6m), a suspension, an XLR adapter ==> Jack stereo.

OVERALL OPINION

I do not use it for a long time, but I really flashed the first use. I just bought eyes closed trusting Joemeek and different test that I have read on this model whose price varies generally found from 1500 to $ 3300! I ordered from TF PRO liquidate their stock. Price: € 560 ... (The ratio Q / P is insolent)
Its uniqueness is its clarity (especially in the midrange), and presence that gives the tracks recorded with. No need to make a hole in the other instruments so that the voice comes out. It fits into the mix without pain and touch, and finally, the silence coming out of the set (when the room is silent of course).
Before that, I had a Rode NT1. My problem was that the capsule was difficult to collect when I sang a little closer and stronger. The TB47 did not shudder. It makes cash and blow for blow. When the sound, incomparable as well. There is a real warmth. However, we need a clean room and quiet because even cardio mode, the TB47 picks. There is an MP3 or test means much the fan of my PC. I was too lazy to settle in another room which is quite feasible given the 16 m cable supplied.
I would do without a doubt this election if I found him at that price. I would hesitate, however, to $ 3,000.
