OVERALL OPINION

I had one since October 2006, and I did not like the original microphone, I have two matched pairs of lamps that should happen these days, but already without changing the lamp, you do not really even micro ...

After a test with the same gain and a comparison of the original with the converted, it appears that the change "release the capsule" in the words Riri912000 ...
This results in better compliance with the transitional phases them out I found between the AT 4050 and T-Bone go, it's very clear! So ended phase rotation ... The microphone is more open, less typical in the lower midrange and more air into the top ... (I'm sorry to use these terms here but it's really how I feel listening, and I have analyzed later) ...
By putting them in a couple of (modified) above the other (original) and aligned them are single with a phase inversion, leaving only what is more, it is to say essentially the acute, which I missed a few things and basically the bottom ...
See how it sounds is no longer in the same range as the original micro!
