OVERALL OPINION
I write a lot in home studio (VS1680) and I for a little less than a year I started to invite singers. I needed something deeper than a SM58. So studio microphone. Budget ... hard drive ...
And I fell on SCT700 Thomann, tube for 170 Euros. And then the miracle.
I hallucinated about the depth and warmth that restored the microphone when recording of the voice. Test the acoustic guitar. Extra, but we must deal with low and well positioned.
In short, I consider myself a professional microphone holder. I put behind a dbx 286A, and have fun as a little crazy!
Of course, as each microphone, it must be tame and get to know him. But, in my opinion, the effort is worth it.
