I do not know what made this country was low.
It has 24 frets, a golden acastillage marrying well with the natural satin finish.
It has two microphones, one single coil side handle and a double side splitable easel.
The bridge is a classic in Warwick, with separate bridges.
The settings are complete:
- Overall volume (push / pull to boost bass and treble and midrange dig)
- Balance between the microphones, notched
- Low, mid, treble
- A 3-position selector for controlling the winding of the dual position series, a parallel position and a position where a single coil is used
The handle, in the great tradition warwick is unvarnished.

UTILIZATION

Mache comfort is subjective. I know that many people do not support mache unvarnished as the cello, but I love it. Furthermore, his profile makes an ideal position of the left hand.
Access to treble is very good up to the 22nd fret, the 23 and 24 are more delicate but very accessible anyway.
This bass is ideally positioned sitting or standing. Any discomfort is generated by the shape of the bass, nor balanced.
It is of some weight compared to other basses such as Ibanez, but it's still very acceptable. A good belt is in any case necessary to benefit the long standing, but it is the case with all instruments.
The sound is easy to find. Els with all settings at noon it sounds.

SOUNDS

I set up ropes on this bass fillets flat. It is perfect for the song, jazz (all types), and slap. Recently, I tried it on an Ampeg SVT and, surprise, it is very suitable for heavy rock fat.
It's been long since I abandoned the amp modeling systems plugged into the mixer (I am not a mover ...). So I have a "bass pod xt live" and I generally use the models of AC1000 vox and fender Bassman. It sounds beautifully, responding accurately.
I generally preferred to position myself to 3 / 4 on the neck pickup and put the bridge humbucker in parallel with the other knobs at noon. It has a sound that approaches the violin bass McCartney, and that I love ...
I'm not a fan of the slap, but it sounds well with. This is clearly not its primary purpose, but it's still good.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 5 years with a constantly renewed pleasure. I love the sound of McCartney, his extended capabilities (great versatility!) And comfort of the handle unvarnished.
For cons, I have a little trouble using the bridge pickup in humbucker mode. I get a kernel that does not like too much, because too "heavy metal sound." This is certainly a matter of taste.
Before buying it, I tried many models from Ibanez, Yamaha, Warwick, Fender ... The other model I was interested in an active American jazz bass Fender, but varnish the handle, combined with less flexibility in the same price range, convinced me to buy this bass. Warwixk other models I tried were not as convincing in a jazz song.
5 years later, I would do most certainly a choice Warwick, but having expanded their range and also my means, I point can be in the high end (we can always dream)!
