I'll just complete the review of my fellow forum "EHX 45000" ...

it is a good looper "hand made" .... compared to the rc 300 "world company"

strengths: compatibility midi "perfect" sound quality, creative potential of the 4 tracks has inside of each loop (I detail after this critical point with respect to rc 300)

weaknesses: no "undo" ........ very boring in "I run the puree and then I manages"
therefore necessity to "prepare" the tracks, second weakness: no tempo display ... thus recording between two loops .. if you decaler the tempo adjustment ...... and what bin is dead

UTILIZATION

no problem everything is clear for a broken musicos has mao / loop ............ ..... see if the forum audiofanzine

excellent sound quality, configuration "4 tracks" kind old tascam or fostex type, is an important point of the looper, let me explain:

the rc 300 ... you can save or 3 "tracks" that run different stereo at the same time is 3 stereo tracks that keep coming ...... (like verse / chorus / bridge) and of the power of 45000 lies in the fact that you can record 3 tracks stereo or 4 mono + stereo by a loop that keep coming ... understand?

I detail .... the rc 300 is:

I have 3 independent tracks: bass guitar track 1 track 2 track 3 song ..... and I mute / unmute the 3 tracks as I want when running; however the structure of the loop is fixed (no verse / chorus eg)

I use either track 1 as verse, chorus as track 2, track 3 as a bridge .... but inside each track my instruments are "frozen"

well with the 45000 ....... I loop makes much I want (couplet1/refrain/pont/break...etc) and inside each loop ... I run my tracks as I want (mute / unmute) ...... this is the great strength of 45000

the second biggest strength (and size) is that it is "midi full compatible" ... all delusions are enabled it works, sync with cubase / ableton etc. in slave or master ... no worries

SOUND QUALITY

perfect sound quality .......

turn to two major defects (only in my opinion):

not undo: very boring ........ need to be "nickel" ....... if I erase and I start ... so not cool when manipulation has launched a recovery manu chao and everyone jumps in the air in the room ... so be prepare ... improvisation goodbye except "nickel"

not display the tempo so if I record 3 loops as a result .... well check before recording on a soft Slavic if the tempo of the loop ...... 109 bpm and a verse chorus has 114 .. embarrassing ... below 1.8 g calva in the blood ...

3 default for some (but quality for me) functions will have essentially no effect rotten unusable (rc 300) or pseudo drum machine worthy of a 90 year atari ... (rc 300)

OVERALL OPINION

here is ...... I have said everything I work before with a jamman stereo rc 50 and rc 300 ....

my philosophy:

if you are not working with a DAW or a BAR in MIDI sync. rc 50 or jamman stereo latter favors spontaneity but one track on the stereo for three rc 50

if you use the south but:

1) in a BAR in sync slave only: rc 300 or EHX 45000 ... it is discussed

2) sync a DAW (sequencer) or maschine kind or spark software: 45000 the only

Above all, you should know that the looper Electro-Harmonix 45000 is the new version of the Electro-Harmonix 2880. This is the same looper, but ultra-supercharged!
So everything that has been said positive about 2880 is valid for the 45,000.

WHAT'S NEW ON 45000 COMPARED TO 2880:

- THAT'S IT, THEY DID IT! : You can make intro / verse / chorus / bridge / outro ... this looper becomes multi-loop (100) AND multi-track (4 + 2)! ...

" : Voila, so in short, what was missing most in 2880 was resolved verses / choruses / bridges of different duration (each a loop), it is in the pocket ... playing a verse, a foot support on one and at the end of verse chorus it goes ... -1 Is returned in verse, yet we pass -1 to bridge etc ... or live on the verse or chorus button with a midi pedal ... the top, and all whatever the length of each sequence ... 100 loops on a single SD, and SD as you want ... need to juggle CF on stage

- Change loop via MIDI pedal, very versatile and well built, PC or CC: HAPPINESS! => It goes directly to the desired the single push of a button, super powerful for the verses / chorus / bridge loop! ... (Irrespective of the duration of each of them, so)

- Always about noon, in the manual, they do not show step technique that I recommended for recording loops MIDI sync slave with Quantize, it's nice, so we had grasped the optimal way to use the my stuff ...

- A whole lot of rhythm are included in the looper (and downloadable blackjack for those who have a looper another brand, hehe!)

- SD card instead of CF card 4 32GB comes with a 4GB on my own, but probably more on your, they increase gradually as time passes

SOUND QUALITY

The converters are of a quality to die for! The sound is just PERFECT! ...
With an excellent headphone, it is impossible to detect any loss of quality between the input signal and the output is to say ... It is far, far away from the quality of other loopers that I have ...

The two outputs are always separated, as in 2880, so we can put two different amps output scratch if desired (a clear Fender and Marshall saturated example) and assign four mono tracks on an amp or other ...

OVERALL OPINION

Conclusion: the arrival of multi-loop (100 loops 4 +2 chacunes tracks on an SD card), combined with the unprecedented power of midday control 45000 (as 2880, you can drive ALL midi above, all but the headphone level and the entry level pre-amps) make a machine with immense opportunities without any competition, provided the racorder an external midi pedal


PS: the worries that snow rightly in its opinion below are largely resolved with the pedal twelve o'clock
