UTILIZATION
I love the Les Paul and especially the 59, so my opinion is very subjective.
She is one of Les Paul's rather small with a weight of 3.86 kg on the scale.
I find them comfortable, easy to play, etc ... So I will not dwell on this point.
SOUNDS
Here is the big slap! this is my third 59. I have two other WCR pickups equipped with vintage and Cable Kits WCR.
Before plugging the guitar I played acoustic and I quickly noticed that she sounded great and sounded much louder than my two other Les Paul that are not yet shovels.
Once connected the impression is confirmed! guitar breathes and sounds very vintage. It is very easy to get sounds like "Since I've Been Loving You" by Led Zep with this atmosphere and that its three-dimensional in that jurisdiction. I had the opportunity to try an original 59 and this guitar really comes close! It is a very clear, living with a harmonic richness rather extraordinary
OVERALL OPINION
I just have it today. I think it's clear in my opinion. it became my favorite guitar after 30 seconds!
I am very familiar with the Les Paul Custom's (I have several) Shop and it is particularly noteworthy.
The choice that I will ever be is never to buy in Europe (Store or VPC) and buy my next Les Paul's from the same U.S. seller who carefully selects the play and provides valuable advice on instrument choice based on taste.
And it's cheaper than Europe, even with shipping and customs!
