Made in the United States;
stick thin (59 unbalanced) very easy and comfortable to play;
humbucker pickups 492 R (very hard to find) and 57 T
Gold-plated hardware, elegant, quality materials
Easel very specific: Tune-o-matic
chambered mahogany body with maple top: very light compared to other Les Paul
Mechanical groove, the agreement preserves fully
one volume, one tone and 3-way switch
UTILIZATION
Handle very nice for small hands (my case) and very comfortable
Relatively easy access to acute: a double advantage cuttaway
Weight level, nothing to say, a Gibson without the inconvenience of its weight
The fact that there are only two knobs (volume and tone) allows a simple game;
SOUNDS
It is versatile enough (although it should be excluded, I think because I do not practice, an overly aggressive rock, trash style, but honestly I never tried)
His best record in its light or the treble and midrange (especially as it is lightweight to have rather less low frequency or a serious Les Paul Standard), personally I play on a fender bassman amp this which compensates for this gap easily, for a rock sound bridge pickup allows you to play the ACDC for example with a Vox AC 15.
I have long hesitated to change the pickups for 490 and 498 as the "DC plus" but deep down I am afraid to miss the original pickups that are quite endearing (the 57 is known for its quality)
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for three months, most recently to get a wider range of sounds and more modern I almost let her back in to buy his little sister (DC Pro). But finally I could not part with it, not only is it very comfortable to play, but I'm afraid of regret because this kind of guitar is almost impossible to find (I do not know anyone who has), it DC is close to most but differs from it by its handle (I know of no other gibson that has a handle 59 unbalanced) and microphones.
As soon as I can I will buy a Les Paul DC Pro which will allow me to have another range of sounds.
