«  Extra, it sounds! »

Well, without going into details, it is a beautiful Gibson USA Gold Top with a varnish on the table, maple maple neck also mahogany body not "chambered". It is therefore quite heavy. Mini-humbucker pickups 2: here or here starts to become magical ...

To see the rest of the Gibson site.

UTILIZATION

The handle is excellent, not too big, not too late for me, the ideal size. Access to acute is correct (see Ibanez if you want a highway).

It is scheduled to rock and it feels the grip. The varnish is soft, the finish is really good on mine, I must admit that the store or I bought Gibson is a specialist in Lyon and I think correctly chooses his guitars.

One branch and then ...

SOUNDS

And here it is AWESOME! Honestly, I played for 25 years, I've had guitars and try dozens (I have 2 Fender U.S. Deluxe and a Gibson SG standard more at home) and really for the price, this is a real bomb .

I play rock, blues, and it is really cut out for this. FYI, I plug a Marshall JVM 410H.

The clean tones are round, warm, full! Crunches are aggressive just right, there is a definition of the sound is very good (not hand it in all directions). I easily found the sounds of my favorite guitarists (even those who play on Strat ...). OK the amp is good but little does the job.

I find the urge to play since his arrival (although my SG and my strat have always been faithful companions).

OVERALL OPINION

I have been playing for 1 month. I wanted a Les Paul for a long time but they are expensive even used ... the Tribute series can be fun for a reasonable shot. I tried versions 50 and 60, they were already cool. I tried other brands (LAG, Custom 77 Godin, ESP, PRS, ...) with great guitars for a nice price but also, I wanted a myth in my studio, and I.

While we agree it is not a Custom, or even a standard (one day maybe ...) but for the price, it is really excellent. What I like least: the varnish must be weak I think the finishing Korean is better but nothing else!
What I like: EVERYTHING. This is a very good value sound quality / price ratio. If you are looking for a good scratching at a fair price with superb sound, look no further.

With hindsight, I regret nothing. I just want to play riffs rock!
