Mine is dating a model 2010 purchased from a luthier there of that one week (February 2014). Okay so on components, vary depending on the year, supplier, etc ... Note that the LP Studio Faded were not equipped with maple table before 2012.
For my part:
• Factory USA (that's normal from a Gibson tell me ...)
• Mahogany Body
• Mahogany
• Mahogany
• Rosewood fingerboard
• Two humbuckers Burstbucker pro
• A Tune-O-Matic
• chambered body (so hyper light, and it's nice to death on a Lespaul!)
For mechanical Gibson Deluxe is noted above, I could not tell you more, but they are very precise and takes into tuning.
• 22 frets
• 2 volume / 2 tone controls and a 3 pos'
• In terms of finishes, the guitar is simply painted with a fairly thin veneer, again we must love, you do not have the shiny, and the guitar is a little less protected, but the color remains pretty cool

UTILIZATION

• Regarding the handle, it is round enough and very comfortable, my luthier did a perfect job at the settings, I find it easier to play a Ibanez after every guitarist has his preferences, personally I ' totally agree.
• In terms of usability, in terms of form, it will not be easy, this is what a LP ... Access in acute is not easy but the solos are feasible with more or less ease. For weight, as I said above, the recess and nail play, but it is very light compared to a traditional LP, your back and shoulders will thank you: D
• Beauty is very easy to tame, knobs that match, two microphones with their own personality, very efficient mechanical ...

SOUNDS

As mentioned just above, microphones each have their own personality, of course with a pickup more access to acute and its pretty square and a round neck pickup rather hot, with a system based on the bass, perfect sound for playing the clean.
Rather I play, rock blues, metal, and heavy metal, and it happens to follow me in all these records! Very comfortable on small cushy blues, with a pretty decent sustain, and a very warm sound, even for warm tones it is also very comfortable on the rock Guns N Roses, and even after playing metal, hardcore limit, it also stroll, well proportioned bass as acute, depending on your settings in any case I do not have to worry with some beatdown.
I mainly play on my Blackstar HT-20 with an Ibanez TS9 that I use boost.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been a week that I have, and I am constantly on so this guitar is great, difficult to pass such a skyscraper. You Gibson quality at your fingertips with a fairly good price.
I took a big blow to heart, because I wanted the base point me to a Flying V or a PRS SE Custom 24, a simple test on this LP and I wanted to embark.
If the choice was to do it again I would do it again, especially for the price, and maybe I would consider the change a little, by putting a pair of active pickups or something like that (bouuuh sacrilege: D)
Maybe I would put a caveat for varnish too fragile, although I love its appearance, but this is really to quibble and not put him 10/10 everywhere
