Manufacturing USA, of course! Channel '50 guy. 22 frets. Duo pickups '57 Classic and Classic 57 'More. Two volumes and two tones.
Mahogany body and not rosewood as I have read in a review right here, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, maple table: in short, a Les Paul!
Mine is color Honey Burst, absolutely sublime.

UTILIZATION

The handle of '50 type is assumed the bulk of the Gibson catalog. Certainly bigger than the Slim Taper '60s, he did not act either a log! I particularly appreciate. The weight of my model totaled 4kg2, but therefore very light compared to my other 4kg9 LP Traditional ebony!

SOUNDS

This guitar is suitable for all styles of music. I do not see what we could not play with LP!

This differs from my other Traditional Trad in that it offers an aerial sound where Ebony is definitely my "earth". OVERALL OPINION

Yes, I've tried guitars and I have owned! The Les Paul is my first love and is again today, my favorite guitar, the one I am perfectly at ease, one with which I am in total harmony. I play better on LP than on any other guitar. I get the desired sound only on a Les Paul. I know exactly how she reacts, how it responds to changes in its tone controls and volume, how it behaves in the attacker closer to the bridge or the neck. In short, I know.
The quality / price is very good. The perfect finish, the quality of wood used, electronics and microphones fully justify its price.

Made in the USA, the characteristics are that of a Les Paul as understood.
Body rosewood, maple Flamée table, bending over the table and the handle, handle type 50 '(big but not that much, very pleasant to take in hand). The handle is perfectly tuned through technology Plek. The real plus is that the microphones and classic 57 classic 57 +, who are excellent pickups.
High quality fittings. Mine has no manufacturing defect, it smells quality full nose. A thick layer of varnish that protects the beauty. It's beautiful, it shines, it is a Gibson.

UTILIZATION

Grip very nice and very intuitive, I must say that I was already playing on guitars with this type of handle (and I have big hands). Ergonomics is that of a Les Paul, the weight also. But we must relativize the weight it does not weigh 30kg. it is quite bearable, and then a little muscle does not hurt. After 3 hours of rehearsals I am not more tired than when I played with my Lag Roxanne.
The access to the treble is not very easy, but you have to put things in their place, it is not a guitar shredder crazy.
on the other hand, it gives pleasure to play with, forget the little "inconveniences" associated with Les Paul in general.

SOUNDS

This is where the myth is revealed. I play in rehearsal and on stage with a Peavey Classic 30 all tube transplanted into a PA system. I play pop-rock, blues, punk or see the hard (some ACDC, it's not bad, quite the contrary). In his clear, it's hot, look no Cristalin sound, it is not made for it. on the other hand it is great for everything rhythmic accompaniment, even arpeggios sound very well. Personally I do not expect that, given everything they say about Gibson is still a very versatile guitar.

OVERALL OPINION

I month, I had lots of other guitar models, which are between 500 and 1000 euros (or more), but now with this guitar, it really fits in a particular world. There are actually a Gibson sound and a particular pleasure to play with.
Other models I've tried that do come close. I love my other guitars between my other Chez Lag Roxanne (500 series) but is still below (this parrait normal, because it is a mid-range).
Gibson is often a dream of owning a guitarist in one day. I've waited 42 years for it, now I'm filled with this instrument really upscale teases with perfection. No wonder so many artists perform on The Paul ...

I love the most, it remains in the les paul traditional sound to fall, a comfortable game to ejaculate on the spot, the blues just by itself, the weapon of jazz, this guitar can do anything, the flamed maple top on the model tested, the sound of microphones, the beauty and simplicity of this guitar that laid the foundations of rock and hard rock.
I did not like, only 22 cases (which I'm used to 24!), the net handle that a little "cheap" to have to make!
I took the opportunity to compare it with a Les Paul Standard 2008 and several findings make me say that I prefer the traditionnal: first, the standard is less burdensome than the traditionnal in fact, This is because Gibson had the super bad idea to dig the body mahogany les paul to put in the balsa; result, it really is lighter, but what you gain somewhere, you lose it necessarily elsewhere I found the sound much less "jazz" the traditionnal perhaps the fault of burstbuckers mounted on the standards of today ...
