- DiMarzio humbucker pickups (DP160 Norton-neck, Tone Zone DP155-bridge), the ki uses micro cache is a kind of plastic-rubber shows a raillure Coupo of each mediator, but a gust of damp cloth top and c is set)
- Bridge Design Lâg and strings with through-design "Tear Drop" (as it is fun)
- 2 independent volumes with Push-Pull splitter for the humbucker and a single general tone
- Pickups selector with 3 positions (Toggle)
- Matt Chrome finish hardware (then it is not clear, as indeed accastiage is in a sort of brushed metal, including the bridge, except the pickup selector that looks like plastic and micro media, is a kind of painting matt bar that the slightest gust of mediator to reveal the metal underneath a little brighter so I do not see too much interest on the cost .... I think when I have more I'll scratch scratch all this fun painting m. .. e!)
- Varnish Matt (that's true, so it's simple but at the same GST class, for against the purists may say that it seems to be that it was sunk ds a plastic mold ...) level cleaning, a damp cloth and blow it clean!
So for me it has a good mouth, class and sober, it gives a very professional guitar even if you do not see the grain of wood through the varnish. ("Matt design" huh!), I find that the head of the handle is really cool and form in general ca ressmble much to cut a double LP with more rounded horns. For cons, I'm really on them to support micro, I see no point in the color they put on ... So I would say 8 for aesthetics as nice but not very original ... but nice anyway
Edit: After almost 1 year 1 / 2 I will certainly re-do the finish like burgundy / brown translucent finish is a bit too guitar power ranger for my taste ...
UTILIZATION
So it's already a guitar that is super light!! less back pain with shovels to 20k, but as the SG, the natural position when playing standing up with is horizontal ... It's a bit annoying at first, but you get used to ..
Then the handle is very nice, it has a silky feel on the button that's great. The access to treble is very good too (as an LP on CD).
As against an inconsistency there (for my taste) on level of volume knob / switch: when is the guitar playing, the volume knobs are almost aligned one below the other not far from the bridge pickup, and fishing where it is that the knob of the bridge pickup is the most distant of the two with respect to said microphone and suddenly it's the same for the neck pickup ... not very logical to me all this.
Other than that, I think the knob is effective but not very consistent race: we feel the use of knobs above one-half the limit. For example, if you play on the volume knob and that goes a little too fast, we are surprised by the rapid loss of total volume ... is little better at this level ...
So in short I'm pretty happy with the level of use for this award but disappointed by these knobs (even if they switch at the same tps ca ... they do it well) so I but ... 7
Edit: no change at this level except that you get used to many "small" faults ....
SOUNDS
Well then .... I am satisfied with a near 100% at the same time that's why I bought it!
I'll start with the sound empty without connecting to an amplifier: terrible! The neck-through, the bridge stock and the strings are resonating through-mache to the sound of the body. So, you plug in the ampicillin, the sustain is really pretty!
Precisely, in clean, sounds are very smooth and the pickups give a great violin + dynamics. sounds are rich and harmonic easy to make. By switching the microphone when you lose a lot in the same signal and especially the medium. So it sounds more slamming (the sound is not strat but nice anyway). I switch the microphone especially for a game more folk and AC drives alone. So clean sounds can be used without problems for a variety of styles (from bright to soft lens).
The output level and quality of microphones + violin is also the crunch sounds are excellent, it comes out on my own and it retains the same dynamic.
For distortion, the switch no longer serves to grans thing, but the DiMarzio do their job and they do it well please! It's clean, precise, dynamic, rich in harmonics, utilisabe pop / blues to metal. For more tips after I nag not necessarily expert not qualified but considered the reputation of the DiMarzio is well established (reminder: Norton + Tone Zone).
I use the distortion in my amp (rock 70 ', a big muff and a line6 uber metal for the rest (a marshall jackhammer soon). In general AC meets with the pedals ...
Sounds that may not be in heaven m'envoyé essentiellemnt I think of my other stuff (amp effects and H & K sixty ATS).
Any way I bought this for guiatre price / sound quality / versatility, so for now that fits me. I put 9.
Edit: I bought a year ago near a fallen angel ashdown home (tt lamp 40 W) ... and gives death bah ca ... beautiful clean (jazz, blues, funk, crunch) and disto well-typed rock and roll, rock, hard, heavy ... the guitar shows versatility ca (just a little distortion pedal for things bourrines ).... is really a good dad shovel!
OVERALL OPINION
I bought 1000 euro, beginning in January, with a cover (not terrible drawback). They are simple, classy and modern at the same time even if the finish is not top of death that killed his mommy. For the price it was however a very good violin (which is designed to en ringing sound and it's like that!), Good pickups (DiMarzio oblige!) And an electronic medium a little to my taste although the possibility to switch the microphones is quite nice for versatility.
I tried a few guitars all costs for now and I would say that you type in the category of semi-pro.
For me it is a good value for money with qq defects that do not affect the essential: the sound and general face of the shovel!
For now I am very happy, so yes I do it again this election!
I will if I m'ecouet 8.5, but not yet enough distance to judge and not a very experienced guitar I put 8.
Edit: Well looking back I put 9 / 10 .... gna!
