UTILIZATION
I bought my bass player has to offer is a guitarist, I had 2 days of testing and I play from time to time on it when I see it, I did not fully exploited. ..
use is very good, I felt comfortable on it (before I was on a Stratocaster-type guitar, I have to change guitars, and I often had trouble getting used but there it went very well)
little concern is the use of splitters and buttons volumes and tones, namely a 0 volume can leave the guitar lit depending on the position of the splitter)
SOUNDS
I play rock, metal, blues, folk ...
I really liked this guitar for rock and metal, it's a hell of a not very clear but very powerful and profound.
I try a combination head + cab on my head and peavey amp Line 6 Spider III HD 75 in what I did spend a lot of guitar, all it does not come out as well as the ESP LTD ec-100 ...
artificial and natural harmonics are excellent, clear and powerful by the guitar, bass heavy and very responsible manner (+ muscular + with the peavey and indomitable as I love them with the line 6).
the highs are clear and fast compared to my old guitar, very good for my 2 types of solos:
-Slow and atmospheric with lots of echo and delay depth
-Fast arpeggios, or wacky followed with a small delay or net.
I try with Line6 Uber Metal pedal, she fares better on the head spider, which is not the case for all metal and rock guitars ...
the default for me is the lack of precision in the notes has frets that are causes of evil thoughts
OVERALL OPINION
I therefore used for some time now and then after trying for almost 2 days intensively.
What I like about this guitar is the sound, and his appearance, mix together the classic Les Paul and the big rock power metal forged ESP
What I like least is its system of "I position the splitter so that the volume is adjustable" because I'm used to concerts and rehearsals to turn a little help from the volume very often not to make any unwanted noise.
I regret also frets that play a "clip the rope as a patient vomits to reach the ultra right note" ...
value for money is awesome, the word that is associated in my head with this guitar is "wow!", but compared to other esp ltd eclipse of the series most expensive, is very weak ... but as I say, to each his music and his means.
