View the previous opinion. The violin is not high quality but is still correct. Great care has been taken in the acastillage.

UTILIZATION

Accustomed to the sleeves of strato (and incorrigible fan), the relative comfort of the handle round and thick is a good surprise. No need to spend hours on it to get used to. Access to the highs is relatively comfortable. The guitar is well balanced, while being significantly lighter than a real Gibson (against 3.6 kg 5kg and wheelbarrows for the original): At least we do not loose the back after two hours of rehearsal '! The pickup selector and knobs are of high quality.

SOUNDS

A value / awesome. The sound of the pickups Wilkinson is both powerful and well defined. On this point, epiphone can go get dressed. Despite the weight of the guitar less than a gibson, the sustain is there (the mahogany body and set neck are surely a lot). The sound is very typical "big 70's rock" and blues fat. Floydiens crystalline sounds and funky-cluck-cluck are not really in the abilities of this guitar. For my part, trying to complement my strato (perfect in both areas named above), the V100 is perfect for my needs in terms of complementarity with my other guitar.

OVERALL OPINION

In conclusion, the V100 is a perfect alternative for those seeking to approach a Les Paul sound without going into debt over three generations. The quality / price ratio is impressive, and the V100 is prominently in recent models launched by the small brands that rise in the market for good quality copying. The main strength is the quality of wilkinson pickups that are really well defined.
