My Madeira Mandolin (sub-brand Guild), suddenly passed away, the dam collapsed. Maybe moisture, heat since I live in the tropics ...
So I found this very nice mandolin on ebay, at deflated prices, simply because pickgard was off.
It is an electro-acoustic mandolin with a preamp and a 9v battery. Few electro-acoustic mandolin provided with a preamplifier.
It is made in China I think, but it is a good instrument, well finished to look nice, much nicer in reality than the pictures.

UTILIZATION

This mandolin is very light. Form F type can well lock on the leg sitting position. I also bought a special strap special fine leather mandolin, playing mandolin standing is also a pleasure with this instrument.

SOUNDS

Acoustic sound is well balanced between bass and treble, notes are specified amount even to the 12th fret. The volume is suitable.
Connected on loosing my religion, doggone we believe it! I plugged directly into the return loop of my preamp tube amp not to distort the sound.

OVERALL OPINION

The value for money is really perfect, I would do without hesitation that choice!
