MIDI transmission systems are not very numerous.
I chose the X-8 for wifi issue.
I use this system with a Roland AX-1 to drive a Triton rack.
UTILIZATION
Note that the boxes also have USB ports, allowing other uses of the system. (computer music ,...)
OVERALL OPINION
I use these boxes for over a year, on stage and in rehearsal.
Never, I could not fear any stall or any bugs.
In concert, I move a block away. I tested the system and I have observed stall until 80 meters. Even through a stone wall 60 cm thick, it happens!
This could be considered a gadget, but an instrument with a wire and wireless instrument, it changes a lot how to live the live.
I move and I play without worrying about connections and the risk of dropping out.
Listed power supply: 4 LR6 and autonomy is important. Several parties of three or four hours, no problem.

This choice I would do without hesitation.
