At first I just wanted to connect a master keyboard (Roland PC 180 A) to drive Kontakt on my macbook pro core duo 2GB 100GB 2Gz in Protools 7.1 or standalone.
I had a bad experience with an interface to an input (usb uno midisport) and I thought I would add much to the future control surface ... So 3 input, 3 output.
My purpose: to live in Kontakt RTAS in Pro Tools 7 with RTAS effects while recording the show and it works!
UTILIZATION
The only black spot: the driver for the Intel Mac was not on the cd, but 5 minutes later and a download site and it was good.
So for all those who have an intel mac: it works!
For now I can not saturate it and it works fine in standalone kontakt whether or Rtas in Protools 7
OVERALL OPINION
I've had a month and it's perfect.
Otherwise, I find it a bit tacky (I'm on mac).
I tried the M audio usb uno who has never worked and I hesitated with Tapko 4x4, but the drivers did not exist for Intel.
For € 80, 3 inputs / outputs 3, it is very correct and it gives a config that works and is scalable.
I definitely recommend.
