The um-550 is a small Interface 8x8 MIDI-USB port also acts as making patch / merge and filter and can therefore be used without the PC.
- For what purpose?
Connect pc peripherals noon or between them.
- What is your config (motherboard / CPU / RAM / Disk ,...)?
SS51G PC P4 2.4 GHz CPU with 512MB RAM and ...
- Which instruments do you use the Systmes or ...?
Yamaha Motif 8, Roland JV-2080, TC-Helicon Voice One, M-Audio DIGIPATCH, AW2816, Evolution MK-225c
UTILIZATION
- The drivers are stable?
yes, trs stable on the motherboard sis ... I also tried with a KT333, and I sometimes (rarely) the interface s'arrtait work with this chipset.
- Are they often put day?
... aeeuuh ... I have not paid attention this point.
- What software do you use most often?
Cubase SX and various tlcommandes and publishers for my instruments ...
- Do you ever happen to saturate the MIDI interface and if so, under what circumstances?
Yeah, comes as a MIDI interface for any ... specially if I merged sources trs active

Simplicity as usable without pc patch / merge twelve o'clock
- How do you report qualitprix?
Well, well ... trs it's a bit more expensive than a similar interface without patch / merge but it's so convenient.

No, I viserais the MODEL 8 ports (um-880) for I am the strait on version 5 ports (I have six peripherals and instruments and will continue to rise) ...
