I was looking for an additional MIDI interface for my shiny new Prophet 08, then hop towards the internet for a simple and uneventful.
I say "Well a USB MIDI Interface is a good idea," like that we will plug right on the phone (a Siemens Amilo) and there will be an additional interface in Cubase Essential 4 ...
UTILIZATION
I bought for just under 30 euros this little product advertised as having no driver and plug 'n play.
I already have a Digital Audio and another M Audio, which work fine but with both drivers. Super, it will be even easier!
OVERALL OPINION
Neni that it works at all and browse the forums, the problem looks quite common among prodipe, including keyboards with their masters or other USB interfaces USB: Windows recognizes, we will then in Cubase (but ditto on ProTools and Acid, I checked) and, surprise (and tremor), voting preferred sequencer can not see it at all, completely ignores. So you call the paid support (open weekdays in the afternoon, in short, when you work) that tells you to look at their site and do what is stated in the forum (re-install, force the pc to power the USB ports etc.).. 5 or 10 euros later, as it does not work, you are told "we'll have to bin it back to us (at your expense of course, we'll see if it works with us). With any luck, it will work in them, I spent 30 euros for an interface, over 10 or 15 euros telephone support and shipping a product that I will return and will not work with me ... then you doubt my advice friends musicians?
