« Very convenient but not perfect »
Published on 05/03/14 at 00:51I bought this hub earlier this year because I did not want to unplug several cables on my MacBook Air whenever I had to take him with me. In addition, a need more USB ports, a network port and the firewire is quickly felt since I wanted to add devices.
This is the first hub of this type that I use.
What I like most is being able to use a single Thunderbolt cable to connect everything on my MacBook Air.
What I like the least, and this is a big problem for me is that the sound card (C400 M-Audio) seems to have problems with this hub. Can not record audio for full crunches track despite testing different settings for the level of buffer.
Apart from this very annoying problem for which I need to connect the sound card directly to the MacBook Air, I am very satisfied with the product. I connect my Cinema Display screen (with its USB hub), a CPL for the network as well as a docking station with USB 3.0 removable hard disks without problem.
So I do it again this choice without hesitation because I think my problem must be a matter of adjustment .... Looking forever.
