Been a professional musician for 8 years. I play 6-8 shows a month in a Metal/Hard Rock band. It's an active stage show where we are moving around quite a bit from the drum riser to the stage to the floor.

I "inherited" one of these in a trade and I loved the way it played. Then I blew out the electronics some how. I loved the feel so much, that I ordered a new one with the Bartolinis in it. I paid about 425 with a hardshell case. It was ordered from a store in Duluth MN thru E Bay. It is now my main bass rig, and I no longer bring a back up to the shows (knock on wood).

The bass is user friendly and versatile. It's easy to dial in your sound. The "slap" switch is a nice feature for a little boost. The composite body with a maple neck and ebonal finger board make this thing so light it is amazing! I can do a 4 hr gig without needing to see the Chiropractor on Monday. the playability is awesome and the action is super low when set up properly. Lighter gauge strings are a must with this style of guitar. All in all the most bang for teh buck I've seen

With a composit body and a maple neck, it doesn't warp like a regular guitar does. It takes a little tweaking to get the truss rod just right when the seasons change. But once I get it dialed in, IT IS ON!!!!

Indestructible body, and the finish will never get messed up because it's in the mold. I beat the bejesus out of this thing and it continues to perform.

MOST BANG FOR THE BUCK!!! Gives other guitars that are twice the cost a run for their money.

UTILIZATION

The handle is trs enjoyable, fine and fast. It is enjoyable to play trs. CHAC to Agues is more than easy with its form (which gives it a look killer). Although the sound is rgler trs clean with good color nuenceable thanks to sustain the legalization, even the proper octave 24th frets!
The only weak point is that it is not enjoyable to play trs assi because the cutaway is a bit tight.
Overall good balance standing, she can pull a handle to the assi but was not too teacher, at least for the 5-string ... (O 8).

SOUNDS

The sound is clean, cold, warm, round and Submitted legalization measure of force.
Personally I use it mainly for the Neo-Metal, but is also effective for all other styles (and all types of slap).
An instrument has a sound that fits all trs polivalente style.
I play on a Roland B-50 (50W) with divert effects: Zoom 506, Boss CS-3 Compressor / Sustainer, Boss Chorus Ensemble CE-3, etc ...

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for over a year and I ENTSO not my purchase (580), I had to try several other models long before they fall for the Curbow 5 string.
If I would do it again s'tait eyes closed.
I recomand for both its sound quality sttique its beautiful, has a great bass with a Personal for a "reasonable" price. Cort Vive!

This should be a low normmnt style of music I play on a Ashdown 500 watt combo with a Zakk Wylde pedals well for a dirty (without pedals the amp is hard to follow the power of the bass to the death mtal is to say!) m I love the sound "natural" for Curbow, which is not really his usual, in my opinion ...

OVERALL OPINION

I love this bass, I've had a year or so prs, and I believe I have not ke jou more enjoyable on a low. it has a clean look, lgre enough compared to other models, the handle just amazing! in addition I was lucky I chop a single painting with signature SERIES order at Cort: about 1200 euros (avrifi ...)! I got it for 500 euro! I would do without hsiter the same if she made the purchase myself, followed by the prs ltd Vampyre Warwick home.

UTILIZATION

The handle of a 5 string with the acute 27frettes facilities and access to the double octave ... but the weight distribution of neck / body is badly done. It is therefore difficult to play without sitting crossed legs. The sound is average and I've seen better but it's all a question of means. In this price range is correct.

With experience, I will not go that choice because I realized that we did not necessarily need 27frettes. However, when I bought it, I did not regretted (and I do not regret it at all !^^). I think I can still push it much further ...
