My bass has 21 frets, 5 strings.
A bridge pickup volume, neck pickup volume, tone and a passive triple equalizer bass, mid, treble at 0 to +12 dB.
The pickups are vintage microphones FBass specific to this model.

UTILIZATION

The neck is perfect. The difference of the strings is standard, as a jazz bass.
The balance is perfect. Low light and very well balanced.

We obtain easily a wide variety of sounds, playing both on the balance between the pickups and the three bands of equalization. The sound is deliberately

SOUNDS

vintage jazz bass pretty close, and very different from other models Fbass (BN6 example). It works well in a rock or funk, at least in jazz or Latin music.
The B string sounds perfectly serious.
The sound has a natural growl, and it happens often enough to use directly on the amp without effects and achieve a more than satisfactory.
The electronics and pickups are perfectly balanced. Changing the balance between the pickups changes the sound without losing power. The three bands of EQ can bring out the sound in the mix.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 months. I also have a Fbass BN6 and the two instruments complement each other perfectly in the style that I play.
This instrument is expensive, but the quality is exceptional.
I would do this choice, no doubt.
