Fender jazz bass 5 string us / passive Low
2 single coil jazz bass pickups
3 knobs: volume + switch neck pickup, bridge pickup volume, Tone.
The switch to switch from one configuration "jazz bass" (microphones in Parallel) configuration "Precision Bass" (pickups in series). In the configuration "Precision Bass" is the first volume knob general, the 2nd is inactive.
Channel and maple body, rosewood fingerboard (depending on model)
Super easy to use!
UTILIZATION
The handle slides alone: there are the natural notes (no need to stay on for 2 hours to make it sound ...)
Small defect: the weight! Y has more than done the muscle, because two hours of concert to rehearse with the beast ... Aie Aie Aie shoulders and back!
SOUNDS
Speak in sound: wow! CA SONNE! Whatever you're looking like her, you find it! Just turn the knobs of a 1 / 4 turn, and you have a sound completely different. And in addition the switch provides even more opportunities. Only small downside, the power! And yes it is a passive! But this concern is no longer one if you have a good amp and / or a good preamp!
Anyway, you can play rock, jazz, funk, etc ... this bass is a marvel of versatility!

I use it for the past six months both in concert ... and repeat that I am not ready to change
I desperately looking for a bass like it: versatility and crazy! I would recommend for someone who has some experience and some years of "game" behind him and above all a budget! Price: 1450 euros (eh. .. even when it is us!)
If I had the choice again, without hesitation, I do it again!
