Ibanez adds to its BTB bass series two new five and six-string Premium models, available in a unique Vintage Natural Flat finish.
The updated version of the BTB basses has the following specifications:
- Figured maple top
- Mahogany body
- 7-piece maple/bubinga/walnut neck-thru with graphite reinforcement rods
- Rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets and off-set abalone Dot inlays (upper part)
- Nut width: 47mm (5 string) / 54mm (6 string)
- Scale length: 35"
- Gotoh tuners
- 2 Nordstrand Big Single 5 pickups
- Ibanez EQB-IIISC active 3-band EQ and 250Hz or 600Hz mid selection and bypass switches
- Mono-Rail IV bridge
- Golden hardware
- Gigbag included
The BTB1405 Premium (5 string version) bass retails for 1200€ approximately, and about 100€ more for the BTB1406 Premium (6 string version).
