Made in Korea I think.
The bass is in almost all points similar to the BTB in 1005 violin, made in Korea but these benefits. She is really beautiful, feel more, mahogany body with a table and flamed maple back, neck 24 frets laminated screwed into 5 parts of maple and walnut.
It is equipped with a monorail bridge the most beautiful effect.
Level adjustment is the total: 18V preamp Ibanez Vari-Mid with a volume knob, balance, a serious (boost / cut), an acute (boost / cut) and a concentric knob parametric mid (boost / cut , selection of a range change).

UTILIZATION

Handle very nice and flat, but the width of risk in a more destabilized.
The cutting off of the lower horn gives a very good access to the last box, but there is room for improvement.
As for the weight sensitive bah backs will have your muscles are weight as it weighs. thank you mahogany.

SOUNDS

For sound when there wouaaaaaaaaaaahou c'st too good. Despite the tons of knobs, we arrive quickly enough to find sounds correct. The bridge pickup slammed, and the microphone is severe fatty wish. I think this is primarily a low for the big sound but it is also very good record in pop, rock, funk or even Jazzy dub and frankly when I play the neck pickup with lots of bass and lower midrange . She may resume the electronic BTB 405, it does not really sound the same, it is beacoup more "woody" on the 555.
I use a warwick sweet 15 and gorge on foot. There or with my old bass I routinely used my Hartke Bass Attack from home, the more I do not use that to magnify the sound on the move well nag (I play in a group of metal / electro / pop / rock / neo-through pork. all that to say but not sure what to nag )) the slap sound is not bad, I can sound somewhat resembling that of a bassist for mudvayne for those who know, big , punchy and slamming.
I would say the Suel small downside is the grave If that is not the most accurate I've heard but still very suitable for this low price (669 €)

OVERALL OPINION

I have two weeks since then may have to be that the euphoria of the early going but I would do without this choice hesitate a single second.
Before I try to buy another of the series ibanez SR / SRX but the narrow width of the handle left me somewhat perplexed. Warwick I try but it was just for fun thunes becaufe I had not, the Yamaha TRB (old and new model. In fact I bought a Yamaha RBX 775 last year and already I hesitated a time with the BTB-405 that I liked so when I felt like change and this bass is out I am not asking too many questions actually in my price range c ' was one that suited me best.
The price / quality ratio is excellent instrument was a beautiful, well finished (natural Satin) and sounds great. I do not know what they did but at ibanez BTB (4,5,6 strings) and the new SR (500/505) are simply awesome. 2005 is a great vintage

So a very good bass, excellent craftsmanship. Compared to my GSR180, ca change!
Channel 5units, mahogany body, it's good material, nothing to say.
The handle is fine I find it quite nice. It is quite wide and cons, 5cordes
forces, but it is easy to learn, no pb. The frets are super shiny, logo BTB on the head is the most beautiful effect.
I love the monorail bridge, super nice. it comes with a set of Elixir strings
Nanoweb (70 € the game!), Plus ca Bartolini MK1, you can imagine!
I am looking for, but I think there is nothing wrong!

UTILIZATION

Well, actually, the width of the handle may interfere a little at first, but personally
I got used to in an hour or two. In any event, if we keep seeing a spacing
the strings properly (19mm) wide will always stick. But in my case
I do not think it's a problem. Since it is late it goes quiet.
Access to acute is easy, since the cut.
As against the weight a little surprised. Not getting started, but after 3 hours of play, even
posed sitting low ca ... eventually hurt mahogany, when you hold us! But standing with
a very wide strap (like a leather Levy's) it works well.
Its level is reached easily get what you want with 5potars (double dt).

later!), it sounds good. I liked the sound is still a chouilla fatter, but hey,
it's not bad!

OVERALL OPINION

My having only a few days (4 in fact!), I'm crazy!
She has a pretty face and a pure sound! I had the opportunity to try qq 5cordes home
Cort and Yamaha, for the same price I did not hesitate! Frankly, for that price is
of very very good stuff. If I had to do it again I'll do it 20 times if necessary!

UTILIZATION

To handle it is very nice, I pass the guitar to the bass directly with the BTB, and I put a few hours to myself. On some large deviations it is true that a good warm-up is recommended but hey, shit and then you play the bass ... So the above I like to clean c ca c cool while sliding the handle is easily accessible.
It is true that the game sitting is not easy, but personally it does not imbalance disturbs me, however I trouive rather well balanced on the other hand it is true that the handle is .. . imposing, and not really comfortable to play sitting ... all we're going to buy a strap ... I think for all the low c the same problem ...

SOUNDS

For his ... p'etre is a reproach ... the sound seems a little metallic ... but, mine has not had time to get a luthier in a beauty ... I think this problem could be solved very soon ... if its big big big ... c of the killing stoked the neighbors are thrilled ... mdrrr really is not very versatile ... partly thanks to the parametric ... we move easily from one well although powerful drum'n'bass roots in a funky good sound good as it should, to the rock c always as simple styles and so on.

OVERALL OPINION

So I use it for about 3 months, I am very satisfied with this low and if the purchase was a remake I think I do it again. she too gules and has a sound for the price c ouf more than satisfactory.

T all adjacent said body into 3 parts (glues) for meileure DEFINITIONS sound a note that the "board" itself is central to several pieces together.
Bartolini pickups and 18v with prampli mdium Settings, mono rail bridge type individual. Trs beautiful natural wood finish.

On paper that's good for an amazing price!

UTILIZATION

use the bt hurts a little. The prcis is not so bad and is a little runny. ca be forgiven considering the price. The violin seems to me not of excellent quality and you have to press rather hard on the rope to avoid curling. It's a bass that does not present. In comparison, I have a hohner headless B2a (Steinberger copy) and it's much easier even with heavy ropes pulling.

Note also that it is heavy and is not balance in weight when it is placed on the knee, the weight of the head tilts forward. It is felt also in concert, one hour after the hurt shoulder girth. For me, the weight, especially the last dsquilibre, is not a false problem.

modif 13/11/07 APRS one year of use and a passage in the hands of a pro SETTING THE scratching I find it easier to play beginners only. It does not even true when the ease with which I play on my newly acquired bongo mm.

After 9 months of an original elixir strings broke I used to replace the game by warwick black and I realized that I do not like the elixir that keep the slamming new ropes and do not age, something I do not like.

OVERALL OPINION

I really like it this low, despite its default APRS I purchase Discoveries: violin and weight improved. I love especially for the big big sound.

I use it in a hohner b2a complment headless, which is more "fine" for the solo parts. In my opinion it is deprecated for beginners, since ncessaire strength in the fingers. I would do this choice, the quality-price ratio is unparalleled.

When I have more gold coins, I give myself an american deluxe Jazzbass.

13/11/07 modif the bin I finally took a fender but not a musicman bongo. I still retain the ibanez which ultimately has a lot of quality and personality in light of the price pay.
