I bought it from a private seller who upgraded to a Mike Lull Bass. I bought it for $350, he bought it at bass NW in seattle for around $700.

This bass is much lighter than the solid maple bass I played before. It has great mid range and low end tone. The action is low and fast with hardly any fret buzz. The bass contour is great and very comfortable to play. In my opinion the body style is nice and not as wild (ugly) as the new ergodynes. It has two ibanez active soapbar pickups and active 9v preamp w/ 3band eq. This bass is very flexable with a great slap sound or good low end. If you can pick one up for a good price, do it (check ebay).

Not the most beautiful bass compared to the exotic wood basses out there but the price difference is worth it. The stings may be set a little close for some slap / pull playing but is fast for picking or finger playing styles.

Luthite body w/ matte finish, maple neck, two ibanez active soapbar pickups and active 9v preamp w/ 3band eq. Good quality and construction.

If you can pick one up for a good price, do it (check ebay). Good bass for the money. I use it live on stage and love it. I ran it through a rack compressor and then into the house system and it sounds great. I give it a four there is always room for improvement unless you have a $5000 custom bass.
