Made in USA in 1996
Ken Smith bridge, they make me a bit like some schaller high reliability
Channel 3 part profile D
24 frets
Volume which ausis office push pull, bass, treble, medium and micro scale
It has 2 humbucking

UTILIZATION

The handle is more enjoyable! I love it!
The bass is heavy, but good to sound wood must be of wood, besides it is easy to buy a good strap and oblivion dessuite weight.
Access to treble is a bit difficult from the 21th fret.
The Ken Smith sound quite distinctive, rich medium, but rassuez you with its fabulous design, and especially the electronics is hell, you can have a lot of different sound, there is necessarily one that you please!

SOUNDS

So I stopped a little on this point.
I play a lot of different Styes but many see rock metal.
How much faith I have read that Ken Smith was made ONLY for the Jazz, well now I laugh when I read such comments ... Ken Smith ca tears, even metal, anyway with such a machine if you can not make it sound in the style of music you want is not the fault of the instrument ...
I play on a ampeg B2R 4 * 10 and 1 * 15
By boosting a little bass and treble was an extremely powerful, precise, crisp but not too fat but not too late with this low or may be almost any sound.
I prefer the precise, powerful, muscular and fairly low with this I served!

OVERALL OPINION

I acquired 1 week ago, and has beautiful sounds 8h/day about. Every faith that I ask I feel like taking a slap ...
Ken Smith's reputation is more to do and this is far from a coincidence.
What I like most about this bass is ... the overall aesthetics and versatility it, I also love the handle, in short, I love everything!
I aimee least ... Heuu ....
With the experience and especially the chance, I would do this choice!
