Bought new in 2000. Solid quilted maple body wings. Highly figured wenge makes up 77% of the neck. String spacing is tight, but not the tightest I have owned. Preamp is a little weak. Easy to upgrade inexpensively. Best playability I have experienced out of dozens of basses I have previously owned, which include neck- through models. Play Jazz, Progressive, metalcore. Will never sell. My favorite.
