Manufactures in Japan, this bass has a `handle Saddle with two" reinforcements "in rosewood, it is one pice up a key bridge with 24 frets in ebony. The two "wings" are also Saddle, the configuration of microphones, a precision, jazz cot + a piezo bridge in the latter. The rglages are very simple, a volume gnral a balance between the magnetic pickups, a balance between the magnetic and piezo, serious and AIGE.

UTILIZATION

The neck is very pleasing, less than less o YC Nogura on 8, the ergonomics of the bass too, CASC to AIGE very easy because the notches are severe enough and there's no heel at the neck-body junction, is a benefit of driver handles.
All the strings are ringing, there is no hollow or particulirement notes that emerge, the spectrum is very homogne.
Readily obtained a good sound because this bass sounds great for a rglages remains low not complicate handling.

SOUNDS

My style of music: everything, but mostly funk, jazz, afro but also rock and pop. This bass is a rare versatility, it must be said with three separate mics there's plenty to do. The precision alone sounds very good for rock, by adding the piezo sound is hollow, it becomes more "modern", less roots, the single bridge tap quite register in Pasto and the piezo alone can look like in the bass, a bass, provided the boost prampli. The latter is fairly neutral and does not color the sound of the instrument, you always keep the original kernel is really good stuff too. For the piezo, when we mix it with the magnetic hollow sound, like not too personal, we sometimes feel removed from the lower body but it offers a range supplmentaire ind deniable that scratching.
I play on an amp with SWR 1X12 cabinet Warwick or an old Fender head lamps. On the two this bass sounds, necessarly. I bought this guitar used, I have a dj (several) 5 strings that satisfies me, a Noguera YC, I have not failed to look, frankly both m'anchantent I intended the Yamaha dfretage to have a great fretless.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this bass for a self, I had tried 20 years ago and I found the very good sound, I t era bluff by the addition of the piezo, Today I did more crazy, you old perhaps, but from the perspective of a fretless seemed appropriate. The particular feature I like most about this bass, sound, ergonomics, versatility. The particular feature I like least, bof the piezo which currently does not m'amne much more, the look certainly very pretty but very classic, very low low-end were inspired.
The low around 20 years, apart from "POCS" it does not fade, it's aged really well really super stuff. Strongly dfrettage.
You'll understand I love this bass, the first model made in Japan.

Following dfrettage RALIS there ten months I added a little post. Ben is not good picture sounded terrible with the frets are even better without. I never heard a, I'm from rest and I am always amazed by his sound. Sub Fbass the fretless one pot (dsol ric) she sings in all registers with a color ... mama mia! I would love on this final test with a ULow Leduc, it seems that there is no better. For notes I can not put 10 because I have not tried enough of this low level. Who knows if one day I would not find better.
