Yamaha TRB6II

I went into this music store called mom's music one day looking to see what they had i knew they were an authorized Yamaha dealer and i wanted to try out one. i went in and saw this beautiful 6 string bass hanging on the wall i was looking for a 6 string anyway so i went over looked at the price tag and was wo this is way out of my price range the price on the tag was $1999.99 so I talked to this guy named howie who worked there and he told me he could give me an excellent deal on this bass he said since the 04 model was about to come out he could sell me this one for $1000 bucks off i was like holy crape i couldn't believe it so i actually went and pluged it up it sounded as beautiful as it looked. i bought right then and there

this bass looks killer and you can get any tone out it you want you can make growl like any other bass the only one i would compare it to would be warick or you can make the highs just sing. with the on board 3 band paremetic eq that has -15 to +15 db cut or boost you can go from a growling low end monster to high crisp like a tin can(which by the way dosen't sound to good but the point is you can get that sound easily if thats what you want extremely versitle I play in about 3 different bands and jam around with numerous bands and people aronud my area playing jam rock to e-mo to jazz to hard rock it doesn't matter this bass does it all

there is not anything I dislike about this bass the intonation is perfect but i still trying to find that perfect action hieght. but that can be easily adjusted by anyone

it is built like a rock solid alder body and a 3 piece maple/mahogany neck and a rosewood board the neck is straight as an arrow and the dual truss rod is superb

this is the best bass i've ever purchased and will probley never sell it if your looking for an awesome versetile 6 string you should check this out

I just wanted to say here that I had the opportunity to work with a bass player who possdait:

it's a great 6-string bass, trs trs pro and reliable, for a price trs correct.
it is active (and trs own) but the sound is not cold unlike some active 90s (it is closer to a sound Bartolini).
it's a style that will satisfy all low especially a professional who does not want to put too much on the road, but not be betrayed by his BCAN.
Finally ... it's a nice violin.

UTILIZATION

Yes, yes, yes, yes ...

10 because there is no better in good luthiers ... but not the price.

SOUNDS

The effective qualo can plug it into anything (or almost ...) in the absence of bass amp.
o practice on the road sometimes serves as a DI amp.

is not a purchase forcment hyper horny ... but pro raliste, efficient and reasonable.
and really what is asked.

OVERALL OPINION

Trs qualitprix good value and look nice.
but it is not an exception with a low outrancire personality.
it's not a ferrari ... is an M3!
it's just the trs a high-end manufacturer "gnraliste" ... but it's good.

UTILIZATION

The neck is quite wide and the pitch a bit longer than normal (which offers better defined bass)
Access to the treble is just excellent
The sound is very versatile and modern sounds.
It is quite heavy, but it gives it notes with good sustain.

SOUNDS

It's a bass with a modern sound that will be suitable for all styles of music lately: Jazz fusion, rock big task, funk.
She accompanied me in all groups with whom I have Rock, Jazz, Funk and she never let me down!

The equalizer operates meveille and offers a very wide, with still a lot of defintion.
If the bass is a marvel.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had it 4 years now, and I should really be able to buy a very low premium for that I give up. It is versatile, reliable.
Once past the apprehension of the big stick is a real treat.
It is found more than occaz'et must avour that is an exceptional value for money!
