Softrave and Syncersoft have released GuitarBooster, a new plug-in designed to enrich sound with the creation of new harmonics using an algorithm based on psychoacoustic cross-modulation of harmonic operators and imposition of new frequencies.
This plug-in combines the technology for enriching low frequencies used in the BassBooster plug-in with 'Big Muff’-style double cascade distortion. It’s useful for Bass guitar too.
Recommended for all styles with distorted guitar – grunge, punk, stone-rock, hard rock, metal, nu rave indie-rock, lo-fi trash and 8-bit chiptune music. The LFO section is useful for Electrorock, Electrohouse and Dubstep styles. You can create unique tempo-synced distortion effects and pseudo sidechain waves of sound for guitar.
Pricing & Availability
GuitarBooster costs €41 and is available for Windows as a VST effect plug-in.
