« A workable excellent pedal . »

Value For Money : Excellent
Audience: Anyone
Many people don't like Behringer pedals, but I like this one . And I own , both , a Boss AC 2 and AC3 .
People complain about it being house in a plastic casing or it's hard to access the battery compartment .

I put the Behringer AM100 Acoustic Modeler in one of my loops in a a Decibel Eleven Loop Expander to be activated not by my foot , but activated by my MIDI Controller,
I added a Boss GE-7 band Eq with it to simulated a Nylon String guitar and it works magnificently.

Features
1. A Mode Switch to have a choice of Standard, Large, Piezo or Bright .
If I flick the switch to Large with my Boss GE-7 band Eq, I can achieve a great Nylon String guitar for songs like Diary Of A Madman, Mother Earth / Revelation, Holy Wars ( Punishment Due ) or Fade To Black .
2. A Level knob to dictate how much this pedal affects your sound .
3. Enhance knob to add more treble to the signal .
4. The Resonance knob to add more lower mids and bass to the signal .

I use a Detuner, Chorus from my Digitech RP-12 and 2112 SGS to simulate a 12 string guitar and the AM100 does a very good job to make it sound like an 12 Acoustic guitar to play songs like Can't Kill Rock n Roll or Dead Or Alive on stage or at rehearsal .

The AM100 blended in my set up much better than my Boss AC2 or AC3 .

I also used this pedal to enhance my Ovation to get rid of the excess treble and made it sound more like a large Jumbo Acoustic guitar .
