Planet Waves Wood Bridge Pins

I had the idea to change the "pine" (bridge plugs) from my Ibanez electro-acoustic AEL20EVV after reading elsewhere that this could produce a marked difference in sound, especially if using pine of good quality ebony , replacing the original plastic, or similar.

I had already added a Planet Waves "Port-O" to the guitar, which had improved the sound in the sense of a slightly higher accuracy and better projection. But in addition these pins in ebony, the sound is beautiful! I feel like dealing with a different guitar! The accuracy has become magical! (Well, by my standards that are not those of a pro)

What I like most is naturally the impact on her. What I like least is the price, but this is the price of a quality ebony. There are also pine ebony much cheaper in other brands, but I do not know what they Vallent! Aesthetically, some of these pins are cheap weak compared to them.

I took them with a small round "abalone" (abalone) on the top, to match aesthetically with the Ibanez.

The price / quality ratio is still consistent, given the actual impact on sound quality.

I would do if this choice certainly do it again! But I have currently only one folk guitar!
