This cell has a special "aura", I used 3 in a row, for a few years, with a lot of transformers (Denon ha320, AudioNote) and prépréamplis (Hiraga version "battery")

Personally, I was very disappointed. Poor reading skills, especially at the end of groove, sounds quite introverted (which may be an advantage over systems a little "green" or extroverted, like pavilions listened closely).

I tried it on a plate Rega, Thorens, Garrard 401 SME 3012 + long (a great wedding it seems).
An old Shure V15II and loving home is better already, except perhaps in the bass, but it sings more. I have also been compared to a Dynavector 10X3, price equivalent at the time (now 10X5, better but more expensive), which frankly is doing better, much more lively.
A DL304 is obviously higher, finer, more linear, more dynamic, but still retains a little introverted and stamps are a bit "gray" trademark?.

In these prices, I finally opted for an Ortofon MC15supMKII for me truly exceptional for its price. More dynamic, more stamps. In addition, the size of the diamond brings a great ability to read and much better durability. This unit no longer exists, but was replaced by the model "Samba", features almost indented.

This is just to prevent audiophiles who would choose a mythical DL103 "eyes closed" (as I did at the time) and that might be déçus.A make an informed decision.
