I have a Marantz, it satisfies my love of music, and of&nbsp;<div>equipment designed to do so. I have used a ST 300L since childhood. Listening is natural, lively and very musical.
The size, styling, features and dynamics of these tuners put them (in my opinion) in the top 5 of the best tuners, if you have not the budget for equipment rated top-of-the-range audiophile.

Indeed, for a price between 80 and 150 € depending on the condition, it is a tuner that fades completely into the background, to leave only the sound of the broadcasts. Of course, their musicality is measured at the listening stations and more neutral and musical (...)

Vintages These are values that over-confident as far as the argus draws well below the price / listening pleasure / reliability / aesthetics!

The ST is also practical, high quality 400L his ancestors with his legendary Gyro-touch tuning.
It features digital display in addition to the standard analogique.Il will be faster for the refining of the 300 stations with its servo locked in addition to the meters agree.

Their only crime was to belong (with the first series of amps) to a period straddling changes in construction standards.
Purists argue rightly that the early 80's marked the beginning of an era in which hiffi was beginning to be invaded by "mass production", which aims to emphasise financial return rather than quality ... at the expense of component selection and research of musicality.

So far this generation is in my opinion not affected by that decline in quality construction. One can simply afford and enjoy these series for a few dollars, and listening pleasure will be a notch well above the current production! Beautiful
