Elation Professional introduced its new RMD-1220 12-channel rack-mount dimmer.
Serving up 20 amps per channel, the RMD-1220 is a larger version of the company’s RMD-1210 10-amp dimmer, “with more load capacity and features, ” according to Elation.
Features include compatibility with ArtNET or Ethernet protocol. For those who prefer to use a standard DMX-512 controller, the RMD-1220 also offers 3– and 5-pin DMX connections.
The RMD-1220 can also be run on its own without an external controller. Up to 99 scenes can be programmed into the pack and called directly from the unit for playback.
Another feature is the RMD-1220's DMX Fail Backup, which allows users to pre-select what the dimmer should do if a DMX signal is ever lost or interrupted.
Other features on the RMD-1220 include: selectable dimmer curves (Linear, Square and Non-Dim); individual and block channel patching, real time zero crossing detection, and local onboard intensity control.
Pricing
The MSRP of the RMD-1220 is $2,799.95.
