«  Good but could do better »

I use it intensively for one month soon very good product, very well made (Akai oblige) I use Ableton Live and mainly for VJing (Modul8 and VDMX)

If the pads are very well made, the knobs are a bit thin and relatively fragile, ditto for the mini USB connection, which should be reviewed, it is very fragile, the connections of LPD8 a friend he stayed in hands. Another problem endemic to this one, the disappearance of midi ports out (on many other controller!) Is regrettable. we also regret the absence of a fader Velocity as the MPD.

the app is very simple, actually it can charge 4 presets with the option to toggle the pad / flash CC and / or note.

the LPD8 would come in addition to a keyboard M-Audio, which suddenly left him at home, no need of me lugging around my 49 keys for live. This little thing is really powerful, and downright change my way of preparing a set
The price is unbeatable value, with opposite korg and nanos that we released a series of dung in plastic worthy of playmobil toy's'rus.
I would do without hesitation that choice and I will even buy a second

to conclude:

Product very well designed despite the fragile connections and some missing options. perfect for all applications, the software for configuring a more or less what we want.
