Nashville manufacturer Artiphon has begun to showcase their Instrument 1 new hybrid musical instrument and controller in different tradeshows.
The Instrument 1 is a hybrid creation that combines a touch controller, a guitar pickup, stereo speakers and a Class D amplifier. It’s compatible with the iPhone/iPod Touch thanks to an integrated dock and USB, MIDI and Audio connections are included (also a headphones out).
Artiphon announces that the Instrument 1 will be available in Q1 2013, and that it will cost under $1000.
