Percussa recently announced that they are developing a virtual synthesizer for their AudioCubes, Synthor which is now detailed.
Synthor is a virtual modular synthesizer that allows for assigning sound generator and processors to the AudioCubes and patch them together by placing the cubes next to each other. It includes a wavetable oscillator, a waveshaper, a variable state filter, noise generators, a step sequencer, an envelope generator, a DC level generator and an LFO.
Synthor gives you the ability to control the synth parameters in real time by changing the distance between the AudioCubes (modulation depth, amplitude, frequencies and more). It will then be possible to save and store assignments as presets.
To use Synthor with the AudioCubes, Percussa added an audio input and output to the MIDIBridge software. The synth will also be included in the latter.
