The NAMM 2016 has not opened yet, but we already found one of the most original and exciting products of the show. Meet the Tribal Tools Kadabra.

Tribal Tools is indeed at NAMM 2016 to introduce Kadabra, an state-of-the-art new generation MIDI controller designed for your virtual instruments, DAW and anything that is MIDI compatible, via USB or wireless.

The Kadabra is made of wood and includes loads of gesture sensors, as well as three pressure sensors. The lower part hosts 24 capacitive copper keys with their LEDs to play notes and arpeggios and on the upper part, you’ll find 12 chord change buttons, three control buttons, the pressure sensors, six other buttons and a wheel encoder. You can also connect a microphone to modulate sounds and effects on the fly.

The Kadabra can play up to 16 instruments simultaneously and hosts a sequencer, an arpeggiator and a looper, with the ability to create up to 12-track songs.

The 120 cm long and 5 kg controller is also equipped with a USB port so that you can update the firmware and charge the battery.

The Tribal Tools Kadabra is currently available on pre-order and should be available later this year. Pricing is $1 890 for the Bright (natural wood) edition, $2100 for the Black version and $2200 for the red one. More info at www.tribal-tools.com
