« Windows 7 »
Published on 08/17/10 at 16:12As with any material Mlane there is a solution for Windows 7.
The driver Vista 32 "academic" works on Windows 7 to select the driver provided "legacy" is available in Windows 7 for the 1394 interface used.
This is not anti academic. It's just that Microsoft has provided the coup when he completely redesigned the architecture of its driver 1394, rendering obsolete many factual material firewire drivers. Hence the conservation of the version "legacy" that is other than the Vista version 32 of 1394 brought in Seven.
Mlane adapt to the new architecture in 1394 Seven (not in the driver 1394bus.sys no "legacy") had served a total redesign of the mLAN driver is not guaranteed to keep the networking aspect (using the "bus")
The new architecture in 1394 Seven does it does seem that the peer to peer ... or disk transfer.
God thank you Microsoft thinks of us a little bit still ave the choice of driver implemented in 1394.
However as regards 64-bit versions, it's Yamaha's response.
