Reissue Danelectro manufacturing Asia (Korea, China?) I think. Masonite body of course! Short handle and a little off but it does not bother me too I used to play on a half case or folk, but access to the treble is not very easy. Two microphones lipsticks selector 3 positions ...

UTILIZATION

Even so the handle is very nice, the shape of the guitar does not facilitate access to high frequencies.

SOUNDS

For sound, like a lot. The three positions are all interesting. Pickup slammed into it well, perfect for the old rock'n'roll (garage and Company). In middle comes out is warm highs and lows are not beautiful and slobbering, its very balanced. In neck pickup is warm with overdrive or amp it sounds far-fetched enough blues. Anyway for the price it sounds great and much better than a Squier or Epiphone in the same price range.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 or 3 years, in addition to my other guitars (see profile) is very good. I use it in rehearsal and live like it's always nice. The value for money is very cool guitars but they are relatively fragile (DE56 The selector of a friend has sunk in the box!). Let's say it would not have minded paying a little more expensive and have a sparkle paint (like the old) and a head like the old news.
