Best value:
Excellent
Made in France by Parisian luthiers (DNG)
Channel 22 frets, 2 P90 pickups, 3 position (acute, grave, side) + 1 push-pull to bring the two series (humbucking effect)
Fixed bridge (Badass)
2 volumes 1 tone
Honduras mahogany set neck rosewood fingerboard
Mahogany table cédreau
Grover Deluxe
UTILIZATION
Channel quite nice end
Easy access to acute
Good balance, light weight due to the type of wood
Live in a good amp (Vox AC30 type, Fender Twin or Hot Rod), its very rock (and then the P90, what mics!)
SOUNDS
Playing rock guitar is absolutely suitable.
Amp and preamp mentioned above Mesaboogie (to return home with headphones)
Sound "crunchy" position when micro acute attack, quite round with micro grave (which "not puke a little away from the handle). The sounds clearest when both pickups are in parallel. When both are Series (with overdrive), it is bold.
OVERALL OPINION
I use this guitar since 1992.
What I like most? Everything! Sound, sustain, the look, build quality.
The least? I do not see. This is not a versatile guitar, but it's not what I was looking into buying it.
Excellent quality / price ratio compared to the same type of re-releases in Gibson (lower quality in my opinion).
I cracked on the guitar just by comparing with equivalent (see above). When it sounds.
I would do this choice without any hesitation.
