« the best of both worlds! »
Published on 09/07/11 at 03:39I play with for only one week so it's "discovery". Made in America with a nice finish as pictured. Handle very nice (long scale), with rather large frets. The two pickups (neck & bridge) are splitable with push-pull knobs on each - the microphone in the middle is a good single coil
powerful - through the 5 way switch and the "push-pull" the humbuckers, you get nine sounds very different, ranging from Jazzy / Bluesy at Funk & Crystal - microphones "Burstbukers" crunchent easily on all good tube amps _
UTILIZATION
Playing on the handle is a pleasure - The guitar is light - can be accessed easily treble -
SOUNDS
The sound palette is vast: this guitar is very comfortable in many styles (it is powerful and reacts very well to the nuances of games) -
OVERALL OPINION
As I said earlier, I use it for less than a week. For me playing on Fender for many years, it allows me to enter the world Gibson very naturally.
Affected less than € 1200 Thomann, of course, I find the price / quality ratio very interresting.
Of course, it's a choice I do not regret. (By the way, the case is supplied with mimi with her stuffed white inside).
Gibson thank you!
