Hagstrom F200

Sg type guitar made in europe, canada wood, micro assembly of Korea but in Europe anyway.
The neck is glued and maple with 22 frets, one volume knob, a tone, a microphone selector 3 positions.
Mechanical oil bath
Superb guitar available in black or mahogany (I opted for mahogany).
The head of this guitar is excelente, genre gibson but asymmetrical.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very comfortable to play, access to the treble is super fast. It is a pleasure to play with this guitar even though some may find it heavy but may be a former bass player, it bother me. And it's no heavier than a gibson.

SOUNDS

Its level, it does it well.
I play in a band that blends metal, rock n roll and hardcore and that makes it serious. The pickups on an output level Halucinant.
In addition, this guitar suits all styles. It happens to have both a clear lens, a sound round and warm.
For the distortion is the same, moving from a stoner's a just a super aggressive with the use of micro split.
To tell you, I look like a fat gibson well. And to ben Moitiers cheaper (and a distortion pedal for Rocktron more) I find what I seek, all on a 50 amp Engl Thunderhead and send the sauce.
I still put him 8 / 10 because the bridge pickup lacks some precision and I think I will change the future.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 4 months now and I really regret not my choice. I, who did not have a big budget and dream of having a gibson it was perfect. The price / quality ratio is unbeatable.
Try to have several other guitars in the same price range (Epiphone, lag roxane, esp viper, etc ...) it has handily beaten both at the level and finishes, Mechanical ... etc
In addition she looks terrible and a perfect finish. In short I think my next guitar will be a Hagstrom (super suede), it is even safer.

Everything already said, I would add that this guitar is 100% mahogany.

UTILIZATION

Channel fantastic, the key is really bluffing for a composite material.

For audio, it depends on your amp and what you expect is sure to play the two hambuckers gilmour is not great, for it against a vox crunch at will.

SOUNDS

No one buys a 4x4 to a Grand Prix F1, then you better try it before buying it sending a serious allucinant output level in this price range.
I plugged into a vox AD30VT home, a wedding for the best no doubt.
No sound 'crystal', the clear is acceptable, but it's really not made for it on a fender amp simulation you can feel Asmat, by simulation against a AC30 you let go the horses, it really shipments, sis home worthy of Gibson. There's dust and the christallin manufacturers that do that very well. (Note I'm not saying that the light is rotten, it will be probably 80% of users just is not his mother tongue ...)

OVERALL OPINION

I have been a month now, very well finished, fleshy forms. I wanted an SG type, I have tried many in the same variety of business taken, the Epiphone me feel sorry for the lag sortient seem straight from a toy factory, for ESP and ibanez matter of taste but overall it is worth.
The price / quality ratio is exceptional, a good violin, microphones far from bad.
I think I rachetrais this model without worries.

I play everything, and no worries for a, it's really a versatile Gratt, jazz, funk, ska, blues, rock, spent no problem with good rglages amp.

A modified ibanez valbee change lamps, circuit modification of boost (less than earnings, more potato and heat), a digitech bad monkey overdrive and a compressor marshall ed-1

The sonoritsdgags really typ Gibson, mahogany body, humbucker ... So bold and pais, spent nickel for blues / rock or even jazz, can be a bit less for the funk (lack of slamming) but widely playable anyway.
The sound is very good for the price, without much personality but good nonetheless.
- What are the sounds you prfrez that hates you?
I love the warmth and roundness of the neck pickup, bridge pickup when it is a bit too loud and scratch my tastes.

Some APRS less purchasing this shovel, I changed the pickups for a pair of seymour duncan (sh1 pearly gates in the heats, sh1 jb in bridge)
